I'd get a pump. Woodsball guns are heavy and bulky. Its not much fun playing with a heavy and bulky gun. However, playing with a pump is very fun.

I wouldn't say it's not fun. There is something to be said for carrying a big piece of metal out into the woods and playing "soldier."

Personally I'm not into that, but a lot of people are.

As someone who plays almost exclusively woodsball, let me assure you that the best woodsball guns are speedball guns. Don't waste money on something that's almost guaranteed (with a few exceptions) to be bigger, heavier, louder, and slower than the gun you have now.

The only reasons I'd ever suggest a "woodsball" gun to anyone is if:

1. They're really into the aesthetics of one,
2. They want to play with FSRs, or
3. They want to play pistol

Otherwise, go pump.
Now that I got a good long Stiffi on my 'cocker I just need to find some dudes to shoot my balls on...

Lulzwut ain't no country I ever heard of! They type English in Lulzwut?
lulzwut?
ENGLISH, MOTHER FUCKER! CAN YOU TYPE IT?

Go pump, exactly what Redthirst said. The best woodsball markers are speedball markers, i only play woodsball and once i went to the darkside i couldn't turn back!
Red/Grey Clone VX & Warped Sportz Dark Ego11 Black/Purple
Guerrilla 4500/70 CI
Black Rotor

I'd buy the pump. You can actually convert a pump back to a gun that yuo can use for woodsball. And in all seriousness, your speedball gun is probably the best woodsball gun. If you want some information on pump, check out the link in my sig.

On a sniper at least, good luck converting a Phantom to a mech without lots of custom work.

Define "woods ball gun". Some woods ball gun are light, efficient and they shoot fast. In example, the dye nt11camo etc. thats considerd a woodsball gun is it not? Not trying to sound douchey but not all "woodsball guns" are heavy and bulky

no its not

To answer the OP's question, I own pumps, mechs, and electro's.

Playing with a woodsball gun is a blast and can be fun but it's not really that much different that an electro.

Everyone should have a pump in their bag.

Why choose? Get either the sl-68 II or the Trracer. Both are great pumps and fits right in with the woodsball crowd.
