So my grill are ripping on certain areas of the mask. I wanted to totally redo the mask and have a fresh look to it.

I want to re-coat the mask in either flex seal or plasti-dip on the rubber parts and paint the frame with acrylic paint (or spray paint it of that is better)

So will this work?

Color schemes in mind (rubber-frame)
-black and red
-black and blue
-black and lime
-red and white

Plasti-dip sounds promising. I'd be interested to see how that pans out, because one of my Grillz are starting to show their age as well.

Agreed on the plasti-dip being interesting. I've always thought of using that or something like truckbed liner to "beef up" a Halo shell as they were so prone to cracking. I'm wondering how it will hold up what with the target being so flexible and prone to taking hits.

I went lime green and black rubber. Questions:
1)how many layers of spray paint on the frame should I use?
2) should I prime or sand the frame first before spraying?
3) is there a substitute for plasti dip?
4) how many layers of plasti dip should I apply?
5) plastidip aerosol or dip?
6) should I coat the frame with some sort of protector after spray painting it?

Protip guys, don't use water based spray paint! When the green chips off I'm going to krylon fusion
