ok so my friend has a spyder imagine. he has an upgraded board and nothing else that would affect the problem. once he starts to shoot over about 2 balls per second (literally, i times it) the gun stops shooting and the solenoid just clicks. similar to what happened to mike in the barrel cam video without the paintball getting stuck. this happens dry firing and live firing BUT NOT WHEN NOT AIRED UP! our season is over but he is hoping to sell the gun and wants to solve the problem. we have tried new batteries and it solves the problem for about7 speedball games then the next game the problem happens and he might as well take my paintbrush and bunker them. thanks for the help. i would let him talk but his computer is super slow and is scrued up.

I am guessing you are using a 9V alkaline or the like...

So try getting a 9.6V rechargeable battery and try it out.

Also what kind of board? SD, Virtue, Tadao, what?

And my season is never over :P grind all year :D

are you refering to the universal t-board, that you need to make up the harness for............

and i can tell you 100% you have a short in your board.......if changing the battery fixes it for a short time then it acts up again, its because its shorting out and draining the battery too fast...... take one of the batterys that has been used in the gun and do the tongue test (touch it to ur tongue) and compare the sting of it, to that of a fresh battery....... or buy a volt meter, ur tongue is the natural cheep method tho :P
