Hey so I have an Ion XE, and from everything I've read, and from watching the Ion upgrade show of the death, I've learned that the Ion XE is supposed to take the NXT Shocker threaded feed necks. I bought a clamping feed neck from custom products, and it it's too small for the threads. The feed neck just spins around in the threads. Clearly the wrong size, but I don't understand how that could be, any advice would be more than welcome. Sorry in advance if this topic is in the wrong Thread.

I am sure that they use ION XE threaded feednecks.

http://store.customp...06&categoryID=5 That's the clamping feed neck I ordered, and in the thread section right on the page, the Ion XE is listed under NXT.

Are you sure you have an XE? It should work.

Positive, I have the box for it and everything, plus it has the bolt-out-back design.

Check to see if the threads look the same from the old one to the new one.

If not, e-mail the company and get a replacement.

Wait so it screws in but wiggles around in the threading?

It doesn't screw in period, it's just way too small, I was just confused as to why, as it is the ion xe, and the feed neck is labeled NXT threaded, and yet it doesn't fit.
