Wow, been a while guys. Anyway, found some time to start the fancy new bolt guide for my Shocker. Just need to stick it on the mill and give it the slots between the o-rings, then stick it on a back cap.

If you can make that guide work better with the eigenbolt then you would have quite the interest from the shocker community lol.

It looks great so far. That picture of it reminds me of the old 2003- 3004 guides that weren't milled between the orings haha. Looking forward to seeing the finished product :tup:

Hey guys,
I recently acquired 2 ions (one with stock and one with blackheart board).
Both guns are firing with an empty breech even though the eyes are enabled.
Both have laser eyes and are lighting up when turned on so it is receiving power.

What am I missing? Is the problem with the boards?

When you stick your finger in the breech, does the indicator on the board change?

Something is wrong with the eyes then. Have you tried cleaning them? The eyes might be dirty from a chop or something.

One pair is new from ans.. their brand laser eyes. The other is virtue and was clean.

Will.check.the pins on the board to see if they are misaligned

So it'll dry fire with the eyes on and off either way? That sounds like either a dirty eye issue, or the eyes not communicating with the board properly or something like that.

Just checked the pins on the board. All are there and aligned. Stock ion shows rapid blinking as though breech is full and will fire on or off.
Used another harness same result. Will check connectivity of harnesses with multimeter

Ok, after some tinkering I noticed this

Seems that the brand new ANS laser eyes had a weak laser. If you notice when I block the light, the board changes to full breech but when I take my hand away it goes to an empty breech.
Sigh....ans quality.

Anyway, I took out the weak LED and soldered a red 1100mcd LED in its place. All is working now

Recently got a matching punisher frame and body that I wanted to use on a project.
I am not feeling the body because it's not a BOB. I'm OK with the frame. I can either keep or sell the frame to look for another aftermarket one.

I see punisher frames occasionally but not a body before.

Would it be sacrilegious to separate? Like sell the body and keep the frame OR sell separately and look for another frame?
