I just started playing paintball a couple months ago and have been using a Planet Eclipse Etha with a Halo Invert Too loader. I am looking to upgrade to a marker in the 800-1200 price range with low maintenance. Any advice is appreciated.

Well first make sure you have a good mask, then upgrade your hopper, then make sure you have a carbon fiber tank, then gun. If you have all of those I would say a G6r.

With $1200 you can get a used MacDev Clone GT

With your price range and the ideal characteristic of low maintenance, I would go with the premier stacked-tube poppets of G6R or Ego 11.

Spools are typically broken down and all drive train o-rings/parts lubed more frequently.

honestly if you're not willing to maintain something that's 800-1200, then I questiion whether you should drop down that amount for a marker in the first place.

but to answer question, the ego fits the bill. Least maintainence out of all the highends. g6r's require pressure testing to get it to shoot right w/o problems.

funny man. the g6r, especially with the premium bolt is so rediculously smooth compared to the ego11, anyone would be a fool for buying one.

also sounds like you have never owned a g6r

you test your pressures once like every 6 months/ 20 cases

also if you dont want to maintain much the Alien Invasion is amazing and its 600 bucks, ive used one and it was nearly as smooth as a g6r and it had a nice board and nice stock barrel.
