Hey everyone,

This might not be a noob question but as I'm still relatively new to paintball, I figured it would better serve everyone new if I put it in here.

I've been using Midnight from Sports Authority the last few times going out and it's okay, I'm just really getting tired of all the ball breaks at higher ROF.

It worked fine when I was playing with my Tippmann 98 because I never shot more than 3BPS, but since switching to an Etek4 it has been a big problem.

Please recommend anything in the $40-$45 that has worked well for you guys.

Thanks!

anything valken, or anything fresh. Ask to open the box and check the paint.

Valken Graffiti is pretty good, but I don't know what it retails for, as fields usually raise the price.

Try lowering the tension settings on your Rotor.

I don't know, I don't have a Rotor, but the manual is a good place to start.

No, heat is bad stuff. Looks like raindrops and is the consistency of wet bread, too many bounces

Being a visual learner, this was a big help. Thanks bud! I'll give Midnight another go around. I didn't even consider that it could have been the Rotor. I was using a Reloader II before getting the Rotor and had zero problems with chop, but a ton of problems with feed consistency. Next time I go out, I'll post my results on here.

Get some formula 13. I totally love F13, sometime I would even prefer it over marbs

Can I find it in any retail stores or will I need to look in paintball shops?

Most likely a shop, in my experience at least most reailers carry a ton of JT, midnight, toxin, and usually some other "tournament grade" which is always a low end paint at a premium price... I'd check out a paintball shop or order from ANSgear (free shipping on paint)

Edit:with that being said, i usually use midnights at a HRoF and havent had any problems, but since u are i would try this^^

Personally I would go to a paintball shop and get it there. The last time I ran a full case of formula 13 thru an etek 1 and 3 they shot very well, unlike the fucking marbs( more premium btw, maybe my team got a bad batch) which kept confetti-ing

Edit:
A case cost $56-64 for F13, after looking everywhere

I love DraxXus Silver for competitive play and higher level practice.

Valken Fate or Crusade paint... Amazing paint that isn't too brittle. I used to shoot and etek 3 and both paints didn't give me a problem.
