I much prefer the looks of this over the egomags... Very nice build, and it really wouldn't be too hard to do. Getting the parts would be the hardest part of the build I'd think.

Air-through is way overrated, and so much harder to tech. Macroline breaks? Cut a new piece and stick it in. Internal air breaks? Spend longer than 10 seconds fixing it. Not worth it.

Yes, but the fact is that side macroline is bad. Gets in the way of shooting with other hands, in general is just annoying because if you crawl it drags the ground creating wear.

Normal macroline I completely agree with you, however not with side macroline.

If it gets in the way of shooting with your other hands, you're doing something wrong and need to fix your technique, not blame it on your equipment. :P As to dragging on the ground, maybe you need to pick your marker up and not drag it on the ground, then there won't be extra wear on the macroline. ;)
