I have an old crossfire tank that I want to get hydro'ed but I cannot get the damn regulator off. I have destroyed at least 2 strap wrenches and dinged the hell out of the reg trying to get it off. I need someone with a vise or some kind of shop that is willing to help me get this damn thing off! Thanks in advance.

I had a hard time swapping my PR reg for a adjustable ninja one.
What I ended up doing was taking a wrench and putting it around the fill nipple (WARNING: This may break the nipple, I was lucky and no damage was done at all to mine) then
I wrapped a strap wrench around the tank itself and gave it pure hell. Also take a little bit of time to think which way it needs to be twisted to loosened so you don't tighten it more like it did. As you're looking down at the reg pointing at you left and the bottle turns right.
The PE regs have RED loctite on them so it's going to take some force, also be very sure your tank is empty empty.
