Mystery Benchmark thingy

So we found this little gem in the bottom of a bin in the back of the shop, and none of us have any idea what the hell it is. The only threading on the whole piece is for the screw that holds that little black knob at the top. The knob itself has the hole offset so it's not perfectly centered on the piece.

its a cammed barrel plug actually safer and better then barrel condoms but came out way to late and was to expensive

Thing is, they're more expensive to make, less visually obvious and harder to store.

Barrel bags are brilliant in their simplicity and effectiveness.
