ok I just posted another forum asking should i get a g4 well i have this other person saying he will sell his ion for 100. The marker has a 12" dye ultralite barrel, clamping feed neck, shocktech low pressure regulator, cp rake trigger, HPA fittings and macroline. should i get this over the g4.

Make sure you shoot it first. Ions are no longer made.

Yeah,he needs to shoot it,but there are still aftermarket parts made.

Yep, GOG has parts, but they're burning up what they have. They're not going to make more parts for a gun that isn't current production.

ion. i bought one NIB for 140 shipped. i spent about 200 bucks in upgrades on it and it is by far my favorite gun. and i have a geo 2 lol my favorite part about the ions is how customizable they are. they are like the honda civics of paintball. and look for the sleeper body kit if you can. makes the ion look clean and is bolt out back.

yeah get the ion. i have one and its a beautiful gun... if you take care of it. so just be ready for that. but GOG handles the ion warranties now. EVEN IF ITS OUT OF WARRANTY THEY WILL FIX IT! which is good. i sent mine in to get a new reg seat and its over 4 years old and out of warranty and they were more than happy to take it. a couple things i recommend you get for the ion with the extra cash you have is a new board, and a new bolt-out-back body.
