Of the two, Etha wins.

But if it were my money, I'd get a used Axe. Have you considered buying used?

The G5 is fairly new so we don't know much about it yet.

Like Predator said your best bet is a used Axe.

My Etha is fine with brittle paint. I've put marbleizers through it without a problem.

I would rather shoot my Upped SpecR and / or my G5 than my geo2.1 if that is saying something...

How the Spec-r is basicly a special edition G4, differences are milling, barrel, and reg. and the G5 is a G4 with no macroline. The geo would be far more reliable, quieter, softer shot, better ergo, and overall better gun I mean the Spec-r is nice but cant compete with the higher ends.

I had a G4 it was good but G5 is basically a G4 with no macroline with new names for the same parts, I mean really "sub sonic bolt" even though it the same bolt with holes milled out. Spec-R is a special edition G4, it even uses the same L7 bolt and internals are nearly identical. I have shot a geo 2.1 but I have never owned, i am just speaking though pure non biased opinion. I even owned a G4 with a techt L7.

dangerous power guns are good but there shit compared to other guns out there. The G5 is a G4 with no macroline. Any well educated person will tell you that a G5 is just a G4 without the macroline problems.

Dangerous power must have fixed the out of the box problems that were on the g4 with the g5 though.

Knowing how AWESOME planet eclipse is with their costomer service and reliability, I would chose the etha no doubt.

It has a smoother bolt. Plus, they fixed all of the problems the G4 had out of the box.
