APP is not really bad.

Can you be more specific about where in Norcal you live? The Bay Area is technically in NorCal.

closest field I found is ukiah then sacremento...

I like the new Junkyard field at SCP. And i absolutely love those holes they but in the snake, you can hardly get hit from them and i absolutely pwn with them. I also go there with my school club every second friday of the month, we are on the beginner walk on field. Look for the people with matching hooded sweatshirts, mine says Pinhead Larry on the back.
