I Don Not want to but Anything used, I have sever OCD. Witch makes it hard for me to fathom used ANYTHING. The idea of the refurb tank makes me want to pull out my hair. but i could use the money.

What changes would you make? budget is about 600$-650$

I don't think it's Refurbished, but an ANSGear BRAND Tank?

Instead of a Rail, maybe an Etha, Mini, or Proton? That keeps it at Sub $600

Yeah,
I doubt the tank is refurbished but just ansgear branded and there's nothing wrong with that.

The Rail's a nice buy. I'm personally not a fan of the Pinokio having seen my friend's. It's bulky and noisy but for a back player it could fare well I guess. I personally would prefer to pick up a Z2, Rotor, or Spire.

I always suggest the pinokio,but if you want to save a couple bucks,the invert too is a good loader for about $75 and comes in matte black,perfect for anyone with OCD(like you or me).Also,the tanks are not refurbished,but merely an ANSgear brand tank.I recommend the Ninja 50/45 or 68/45 because 1.It isn't an "off brand"tank,and 2.ninja regulators are some of the most reliable regulators in the industry,and can be serviced(replace a burst disk,lube the piston,etc)by the user(you).It is a little more expensive,but definitely worth it in the long run.Also,I think that the pmr is a very good gun for the price.I even use one myself,but after $75 for an invert too and $175 for a ninja tank,that leaves you with about $400 to spend on a gun.At that price point,I recommend a used supergun,like an older DM or Ego,but since you want to go the new route,I say either the Drone dx(don't have any experience with it,but alot of people seem to use it and like it),the Proto Reflex rail,or the Etha(all recommended in that order)Hope this helps!

1.dye rotor $150
2.ninja 68/4500 $160
3.gog extcy $250
this adds up to $560 and you will have a really nice setup

IMO a rotor is a tad overkill unless he plans on playing any tournaments anytime soon.The invert too is perfectly fine for rec play,and the gog extcy offers a good chunk less performance than,say,a Drone DX or an Etha.And to me,it looks plain horrid,which I don't like,especially if I plan on paying $250 for something.

why not get good equipment now so you don't have/want to buy it later but i do agree with the etha or drone

Well I've been using my invert too for a couple months along with my pinokio,and I have yet to see a performance changing flaw about it.And also,if the OP can get together a couple more bucks,I say get the pinokio.It weighs barely over a pound,holds more than most hoppers even without the nose cone,and is a lot smaller profile than it appears to be.
