If your tank is properly cross-threaded, you may not be able to remove it on your own. I want you to be aware of this from the beginning.

First thing you should try, is have someone turn the tank, while you hold the gun and dry-fire it.

If that doesn't work, shoot all the air out of the tank, dry fire it until it's empty. Then try to muscle it off.

If you still don't have any luck, it may be time to see your local tech.

what brand is it? sometimes you can drain the system and take apart the rge to get most of it off and than sacrifice the top half to get it off.

keep in mind that if it is really on there the asa may not be saveable even if you get it off.

glad you got it off but be careful as your asa threads could be the problem and it may happen again

lube the bonnet threads with the lube you use on the gun

do not force it in and if it is hard to turn then it is the asa.
