Can i use an actual sock as a barrel sock? And whats the best alternative for paintball pants. I have knee pads just want to wear some good pants over them. I was thinking ski pants lol.

People cut into stuffed animals and put a boat load of padding to where the barrel sits inside, then they take elastic bands (like the ones found on real barrel covers) and sew and glue them in place.

TBH just buy a barrel sock because the most expensive one is the HK one at $15 and they are usually just $5.

Check your local shop or field. They might have some you can buy.

That is dangerous.

Be happy for getting sued for $10,000 or more because you shot out some kid's eye.

NO. Just NO. A Paintball can EASILY blow through a regular sock.

for pants i would go with some shorts if its hot because you hardly ever get hit in the leg and if you do it doesnt hurt. If shorts wont work you can pick up camo pants at an army surplus store fairly cheap. and they are made out of more durable material
