I would go for rotor now and go for spire when they come out with a new version that fixes up the little problems.

what problems???
the only issue people seem to be complaining bout is feed consistency when the hopper is empty... another words people are complaining bout their own stupidity "durrrr gun won't shoot consistently because it's empty"
what i've noticed pretty much both spire and rotor can do 100mph but the 0 to 60 the spire is faster. While running low like down to the last 15~20 shots the spire slows down while the rotor starts spinning loudly and people tend to slap another pod in, but if you don't it'll show the same hiccup consistency people are complaining bout with the spire
and this only happens because the spire is sooooo quiet you forget to reload.
1st time i used the spire i was waiting for the loud whirring of the rotor... shot my loader empty and was like wtf is going on.

Spire -
Pros
Quiet
Feeds fast
True 200 capacity
No tool disassbly
Hardly jams
Low profile
Cons
If you tilt your gun a tad just a tad won't feed good
If you aim down to bunker someone won't feed good
Don't have an unjamming button
Rotor
Pros
Fast
Can buy bigger shell
More speed feeds
Hardly jams ( unless crap paint )
Better battery life
Water proof
Feeds no matter what
Shark unjammer
Cons
Loud when empty
Tools to take speed feed off
That's pretty much it I didn't really like the spire because of those reasons and sometimes even when your gun is level it won't feed right in my opinion can't go wrong with a rotor if choose what you like best hope this helped

Well, I own one, and haven't had a single issue with this. Not sure what people mean when they say 'Hard to load a full pod' - If you have 100 balls left in the Spire, putting another 140 isn't going to work?
And it's fricking indestructible! I love mine. So quiet...

I've seen the video where they show this "problem," and it has never happened to me. Not saying it can't happen, but I've yet to see it replicated on the field under actual playing conditions. I'm sure I could replicate it sitting on my couch.
