.50 caliber spring loaded paintball markers marketed to kids 10+. Only complaint is the google system and them calling it "Ammo"... Thoughts?

Those are just cheapo airsoft guns you can buy at walmart but in paintball form. That mask is a cheap airsoft mask rebranded for paintball, http://www.ansgear.c...goggleblack.htm . The goggles are also cheap airsoft goggles. The goggles are just stupid , even if the guns shot low velocity they could still cause some serious damage ( i know someone who lost a tooth to a walmart airsoft gun firing <200 fps). The fact this is marketed to younger kids is also dumb. The pictures are implying that the product is made for younger kids but i don't think anyone under 18 could buy these because they are still technicly paintball markers and every company that would sell these ( walmart) would store them in a case and a parent/ guardian would have to buy it for the kids. They do look like a cheap way to have some fun playing paintball in a way that wouldn't require the normal equipment, but JT needs a little more common sense about a product like this.

SO if you would have done some research you would have found out that these don't fire over 120fps. Also The balls feature an Ultra Evil shell and transfer about one joule of energy on impact. These are already being tested at CPX. Why do you think JT would just throw something that is unsafe out? Just to make money?

Looks like something fun to mess around with.

Mostly seems to be a marker to get kids into paintball.

Jt is making a big mistake in selling these. A kid is going to get seriously hurt and paintball will get hurt from it.

how? if a kid gets shot in the eye, what can they say to accuse JT of selling an unsafe product? it says in the manual to wear the goggles while playing. not their fault if some decides to play without reading the manual or having common sense

you don't have to be worried about getting one in the eye. as i said and maybe what beast is saying is that getting shot in the mouth is the problem.

That's what I meant. I don't know what kinda damage a 100 fps paintball is going to do to the mouth but it won't be good

a 50 cal paintball doesn't hurt much at all, even when shooting at 300 FPS. and with an evil shell at 110 fps. i doubt it would hurt to get hit in the mouth. probably the equivalent to getting flicked

100 fps is equal to 110 km/h . anything at any size at that speed has the ability to cause damage.

Guys have you seen Mike's Kingman Chaser/Eraser video? He literally shoots himself in the arm point blank several times at 250-60 fps. No blood, no biggie because it was .43 cal. I'm sure .50 cal at 120 fps or less will not do too much damage.

Okay i watched a couple of the videos about the product and noticed that they do state that you should wear a mask while playing against people which is a  is my books. and i watched the video of the kid getting shot up close and it seems like it won't hurt kids from close up , and they say that you should keep a 10ft distance from who you are shooting. Also they show this as more of a practice shooting thing than a player vs player game. After seeing that i don't really mind the product. I just think that the mask should come with the goggles.

Edit; Also , technicly these are 50 cal pumps which is pretty cool.

i've watched most of the videos jt has put out and most of the "games" they suggest are target games. Not actually shooting at other players. So the ear and mouth protection isnt exactly needed at that time. It is offered as an upgrade for players that "graduate" to player v player games, according to them.
