Yes I had a velocity Jr with the upgrade that gave it eyes. It worked great on my 98. I remember shooting a bag of evil one day with no breaks!

I use the same thing for my main gun and it happens maybe once every time I play, that said I do use it with squishy paddles. I wouldn't get too much into the mindset of upgrading a Tippmann because its a very bad idea, but if the problem continues maybe get something like this (any cheap knockoff will work, you can probably find the same thing on Ebay for less) http://www.ansgear.c...softpaddles.htm
I always thought they were a snake oil upgrade but they might help in your situation.
