Both want a good price, I've been wanting a a1 for a long time, but DYE is still around

If the angel breaks you're screwed because angel not being around means no parts and no customer service at all. Now the dye dm9 in my opinion is great... if you can get an upgraded trigger. I will only say dm9 because they still have parts and good customer service.

What usually goes first on the a1? Does the DM9 still utilize a spring behind the trigger?

Angel is out of business and doesn't even list things such as o-ring sizes in the manuals. They also use proprietary barrel threadings and are relatively complicated compared to similarly-performing and more modern markers.

I'd take the DM9 in a second even compared to receiving 2 angels for the same price.

Very, VERY few people in paintball would suggest the Angel.

It's an outdated design. Is it unique? yes, but that's because people have since found better solutions to problems than the Angel platform.
It's problematic. Angels are right up there with Shockers in terms of constantly going down and needing maintenance, but with smaller parts, and more of them. Much more complicated gun to deal with.
Doesn't shoot any better than anything else. And they sound like cannons.
WDP is out of business.

They are cool guns, but not a good pick for a gun you are going to rely on.

If you don't know a lot about Angels (which if you did, you wouldn't be seeking advice on purchasing one), then I would not buy one.

Looks sick. I'd keep the decals.

For the price you can get an A1, I'm tempted to pick one up also. I love the ergos of angels, the fact that parts are becoming harder to get is what keeps me away from them though.

The trigger is sick no spring or micro switch too,.. Haven't aired it up yet but it already feels good in my hands... Don't know if i should do the magno kit/fly it..,

im currently own a a1 fly, IMO every other highed shits on it. Ergos and trigger are nice but thats it. They shoot poorly have crappy efficiency. The gun is over engineered. And taking it appart is a bitch.
