Accuracy depends on paint quality and marker cleanliness.

You can have a DM13 shooing walmart paint shooting all over the place and have a tippmann 98 rental shooting the best paint it can shooting straighter.

I would go with the Geo 2.1 out of those 2 because the DM line has changed nothing since the DM9. I would personally buy a MacDev Clone GT instead of these 2.

theyre going to be the same in pretty much every category.
any differences between the 2 will be negligible at best.

Trust me, the fact that they aren't doing crazy updates every year is a good thing. its a proven design that avoids pretty much all of the problems that other spool valve guns often have.
a lot of people always say "DYE NEVER CHANGES THEIR GUNS", but let me tell you, thats a big part of why people keep buying them. they know what theyre going to get. and when you're playing full PSP seasons, you want something you're familiar with.

also, the clone GT is almost $1000 more than either of those guns.

ive owned DM's for years now. never owned a Geo, but have borrowed teammates' numerous times.
theyre great guns.

the biggest deciding factor will be how it feels in your hands as the geo has that extended feel that a lot people like.

Between those two, its a lot of personal preference but then again isnt it always? Personally I love my dm12 and almost everything about it but at the end of the day, the GT shoots better so id go with that.

I like the ergonomics better on the Dm, I like the trigger on the geo better. Other than that it's a toss up. They are around the same efficiency, the geo has more bling with the LCD screen, the Dm you can tune more with the lpr. The geo will hold its value better. The Dm will be smoother and move less when shot by virtue it is a couple ounces heavier

From my experiences, bone stock, the dm gets about a pod more than the geo 2. But other than that this is about right.

They're both great markers. I have a geo 2.1 and my buddy just got a dm12 recently. You'll be happy with either of them but I would suggest the geo.

Not really a problem if youre buying used after a newer DM has been released.

3 questions.
have you owned a DM12?
have you owned a Geo?
Have you never owned either and just going off of what you think is better.
