They break down, and have more issues than a G4, not to mention the $1000+ price tag when they came out.

In short - it didn't live up the the hype as it was marketed and sold as a revolutionary marker when in fact it wasn't.

Mainly because it sucks hairy monkey balls. EVERY, and I mean EVERY NT that I've personally seen here have broken down. And believe me when I say that's a lot of them.
Not to mention the NT I owned myself and was a total headache for 8 months.

I like the design theory behind the NT's drivetrain, but DYE just couldn't figure out how to put out a reliable product.

I'll put it this way. Acquaintance at the field has one. He plays a game, can't play the next because his gun goes down. Fixes that problem, has a leak. Fixes the leak, plays a point, gun goes down again. This has happened the last 2 times I was at the field.

I never had a problem with mine.

Other then when you went to unscrew the bolt, part of the can stayed inside and you had to get it out with a single sided swab.

i owned the NT....and NT11. :)

i wasnt impressed with either one. I mean the Dye Cam on the NT11 was super sweet...but thats about all it had going for it. Messing with spacers and bolt tip inserts was a pain in the ass. Mine never went down thankfully, but the DM10 i owned was a lot smoother.

no hate....just preferred OTHER markers at the time.

You're just unscrewing the back-cap too much.

They are either really good or really bad and that should not happen with a gun that first retailed at $1500.

Lol I dont even think thats physically possible.

Somebody did the math on PBN (and on here) comparing the stored energy of a tank and the stored energy to take to launch a paintball at 300fps and the max shots you can get off a 68/45 is 2600ish shots or 18.6 pods. Im still trying to think of what he could be missing variable wise but I personally couldnt think of any (of course this is considering this is a perfect system with no friction, or energy transfer in any other area of the marker)
