So I am ahead of my engineering class and have moved past the CAD Unit already (Im in highschool) and at this point my skill level with solid works exceeds that of my teacher(s) so I will have some free time to design and I may do something paintball related. I was thinking a trigger. Any other ideas? I'll try to keep the thread updated with problems and successes on a day to day basis.
As for the screen name, its a long story.

Well would you care to enlighten me, I would probably be doing it on a 3d printer first, then casting it, we are a fairly new school and the engineering firm that backs us is yet to give us a mill for metal, and I am yet to learn to write CNC programs (freshman in highschool), but a friend and I built a foundry. It wouldn't be nearly as precise as if it were milled but fun and satisfying to do.

Thats sounds pretty cool, and I could accomplish that with the facilities provided.

Cocker body might be a little much, and although pretty, and mechanical, I dont really know enough about them to do one.

I actually might have something for you.

Taking the plastic sear in the JT Splatmaster and turning that into aluminum. That way I can get mine to shoot over 200 fps.Posted Image

If you make a metal sear and trigger for the Splatmaster, you had better make more then one and put them up in the BST.

Try a Tippmann 98 E-bolt, with a QEV slot, as well as ample space to screw said QEV in.

Yes, I understand that I have schematics but I have to do quite a bit of modifying to make it fit, so I want to see if OP can make a perfect one.

Any plans for other mods than the trigger/ sear assembly?

I was just wondering if you were going to upgrade the spring or pad the plunger or something else along those lines. Not so much if you were having anything else made.

I have a few ideas up my sleeve for this platform that I'd like to try out and do some diy guides on, but alas school is going to be eating up the lions share of my time until spring Posted Image
