So, I'll be starting a job soon, mainly to save up so I can buy a completely new everything for paintball, that means: tank, gun, loader, jersey&pants, etc etc etc. The only thing I'm keeping is the pods and pod pack, since they don't really need a change, but everything else I have is somewhat phased out.

So, money is not really an object since I'll be working and saving up based on what I'm actually going to buy. For the kit that I was thinking:
DM12/DM13 in Dyecam- Open to suggestions.(both color and/or different gun)
Dye Rotor- Definitely keeping, open to color suggestions.
C13 Pants and Jersey- Open to suggestions. (both color and/or different gear)
Ninja Air Tank, any size- Open to suggestions. (Both color, size, brand, etc.)
i4's- Definitely keeping, open to color suggestions.

My calculations is that it'll take me about 4 months working a few hours every week when I'm not in school to make up the ~$2000 this is worth. Is it worth the money?

Buy used and get something that is not Dye. I personally like the MacDev Clone GT

Dye Rotor- Definitely keeping, open to color suggestions.
Get a used Spire or V3 Rotor.

C13 Pants and Jersey- Open to suggestions. (both color and/or different gear)

DXS Shank V2's, best padded and most comfortable on the market. Custom made Jersey

Ninja Air Tank, any size- Open to suggestions. (Both color, size, brand, etc.)
Get a Ninja Tank with a Pro regulator on it, I like a 50/4500.

i4's- Definitely keeping, open to color suggestions.
Get a piar of i4's if they fit.

Here is some advice, do not match colors in paintball because it is frowned upon and decking out in all Dye gear is as well.

I second the notion on the GT.

For a loader I would get a Spire or Z2.

Shank 2's are sweet, and buy the cheapest jersey possible or a long sleeve shirt. Buy some knee and elbow pads too.

Buy a Ninja tank in your preferred size with an adjustable reg.

I4's are great if they fit.

Color-wise I like the DyeCam so I'm with you there. Ego with HDE camo looks nice too.
You don't need a Ninja Pro regulator if you getting it to change the angle. I am doing the same with the stock version. Got my fill nipple on top and gauge on the bottom. 68/45? It's your preference.
Dye mask runs small btw.
Remember to get knee and elbow pads.

Empire pants are WAY better than HK. Better padding, and more importantly far more durable. Give HK a year or two to get their quality control up to the standards of other companies.

if money is no issue, get something other than dye. Pick up a luxe, ego, or especially a Bob Long. hopper sounds fine, tank sounds fine, don't get all dye. empire makes pretty fantastic pants. i4s are good. make sure to get pads too, and cleats.

If you want a spool I would say get at least a 68/4500, if you are even considering a DM13, just get a used DM12 for a fraction of the cost. Unless you are playing reball, a super loader isn't necessary, just get something that will consistently feed 12.5-15bps. Clothing is personal preference, I try to stay away from Dye soft goods because they are expensive and I don't find the quality all that great. Also get something light, you will regret decking out on pads after the first few super hot days.

i agree with most of this, except the first statement about tanks. depending on how many pods you use a small tank works fine, i run a ninja 45/4500 on my proto rail. :)

edit: reply got messed up
edit2: fixed it

I have a used dm11 and I love it. If you can try getting used, try it out too to make sure that you like it. Same goes with the mask and pads, I love the I-4s but like others said, it runs smaller, and try on the pads to see if you like them and they fit, I have Empire Pads and I love them.

For a marker i'd go dm12 w/ bw bolt or a clone gt because that gat shoots money. The rotor is the most durable, the z2 is the most technological advanced in terms of anti-jam shiz, and the spire is the best of both worlds in my eyes. For a jersey, don't go with a brand name generic jersey, your better off going to razalife.com and get something that you can say is yours, empire contact pants are really comfy for the price and are durable and go with a lot of colors because they are black with white logos/lettering but dye also makes killer soft gear, and ninja air makes the best tanks on the market especially with the pro reg.
SoCal baller. Home of some of the best paintball ever played.

The C13's are actually pretty good, considering they took everything from the previous years that they did right and put it al into one pant.
Guns- DM8, Karnivore, BT-4, EGO 6, NightCast, Ion Fully Uped, Geo 2.1

I was thinking about the G6R, but the fact that you need to be comfortable with a lot of maintenance with your gun, kind of turns me off.

The Luxe is really nice, I'd just like to learn a little bit more about it. (ie, wtf is a "pooty core")

The DM12/13 is the gun I'm most comfortable with, since I won a PMR rn.

Marker:
-When considering the markers between the price of $1000-$1500 it is mostly personal preference, get a feel of what you like best. For example: I'd buy a geo 3.
-Best out there IMO is tied between macdev clone dx and geo 3, but the clone has an awful feel IMO and is not as air efficient.

Hopper:
-Rotor is best IMO
-Personal preference

Clothing:
-Personal preference all the way.
-I highly dislike the new ultralight dye 2013 clothes.

This all depends on how long you've been playing paintball for... You could purchase an empire axe for $500 or less and then upgrade it as you please.
