do you really need a new board?

Images used in signatures are to be less than Width of 600px, and height of 160px. Only ONE image is aloud in the signature, and it must be 30k or less. Only 5 lines of text are aloud. No text larger then size 2 is allowed in the signature.

its not a matter of needing a new board...some of the conveniences would be nice though. my battery died on sunday during the first game of the day. this could have been avoided with a low battery indicator the day before.

also, i'm not sure if this is even possible with the boards in question (thus kinda the point of the thread), but i'm getting really aggravated with having to take off the grips every time i want to change modes...reading the manuals, it sounds like you can change the settings without unscrewing the grips (i could be wrong, i just gave them a quick read through)

also, i'm in the process of making one of the most unique PMRs i've seen on the forums, its just another way to make it a little bit more my own

plus i'm getting paid more than i ever have and the $$ is burning holes in my pocket

The virtue board is great, I have one in my ripper 2 timmy, one of the best features is that you can adjust a lot of things real quick without taking the grips off (even during a game).

Tadao smokes Virtue, now Tadao has the Oled which is really convenient when changing modes and checking the battery power.

Virtue has a lot of tweaks including anti-mechanical bounce, if you do get the Virtue, be sure to get the version upgrade, if you have a tourny event with the virtue booth, they will do it for free.
Either one is a great upgrade from stock. For instance you can switch on the fly from breakout mode into semi in seconds.
I went with the Virtue because it had the RF chip harness for $7 for my Pulse that didn't require soldering and voiding warranty.

Good luck with the virtue! It's a solid board that will help you perform to the maximum! Don't really want to hijack the thread, but what other upgrades do you have on your gun? Good choice with Virtue, great company if you ever need anything :)
My sig was edited / removed because it was not within the rules. Images used in signatures are to be less then Width of 600px, and height of 160px. Only ONE image is aloud in the signature, and it must be 30k or less. Only 5 lines of text are aloud. No text larger then size 2 is aloud in the signature.

My image was over the 30k AND My text was too big I really am a muppet

I prefer Virtue over Tadao because Virtue seems to offer more. And I like the programming on a Virtue board too. It's really easy. If you want a better answer just look at the differences yourself on their websites.

If you do get a virtue when taking the battery out the wires will usually come out. The best way I found is that you take a knife and put it between the battery and the battery connector and sorta pry it off.
