Okay guys, it's been a while...

Last October I started university and while I expected to put on weight I didn't want to be quite where I am now :(
Lack of exercise, drinking at least twice a week and poor diet (generally fast food or easy to cook items) have meant that I now weigh the most I ever have.

I'm about 5 foot 8 and I now weigh 170 pounds. I have quite a big stomach, moobs and I feel very unfit, can't run anywhere.

SO

I am now on summer break and don't restart university until October (providing I pass first year; results on 26th June, watch this space) so my plan is to get in shape over summer. Tomorrow is Monday, and this is what I propose...

Starting tomorrow, I will go swimming, cylcing or I will play tennis or some other sport (paintball included naturally)

My diet will be restricted to a more normal one. Attempting to cut out all alcohol with a few exceptions.

Breakfast:

Either Cereal or two slices of toast with half a tin of beans.

Lunch:

Sandwich with either lean ham or chicken breast meat and ultra light mayonaise.

Dinner:

Pasta with beans or tuna and ultra light mayonaise.

My main problem is snacks. I need the wonder snack, something that fills me up while not containing much fat or calorific value.

Otherwise this thread is basically for motivation and the fact that I don't want to fail in front of you guys. My alarm is set for 9 AM tomorrow morning and I will update this thread every Sunday evening with my new weight.

Any tips are welcome :)

STARTING WEIGHT: 170 LB
WEEK ONE: 172 LB
WEEK TWO: 170 LB
WEEK THREE: 170 LB (AGAIN)

Hey man i would reccomend trying to cut more carbs in your meals. For example if you dont eat cereal and drink a tall glass of skim milk with a banana or other fruit it will get you better results. Also, if instead of bread in your sandwich you made it a salad or atleast made it with a fibrous tortilla wrap. Hope all goes well on your diet and keep us posted! cheers man

Stay away from two main things: breads and such, and sugar. Then exercise and you'll be fine. OH and instead of eating 3 big meals, eat smaller more frequent meals. Hope it helps, it helped me!

Get that mayo out of there.

I eat loads of tuna and it is either mustard or salsa dumped in with it.

I now weigh 170 pounds. So basically back to where I started. Thanks for all of the advice. I have had a headache this week that lasted 4 days and I got quite worried about but that seems to have passed now.
