Lol yeah. We never get hurricanes up here, but we did have a crazy storm and one of the guy's from our church was at a weekend fishing derby, he said that there were 4 foot waves.

Me and my family fared the storm well, but long island as well as the rest of the northeast is devastated. Missing school for almost a week, i guess thats alright.

got out last saturday... water was 6 feet higher than normal, caught fish up in the woods, pretty fun... got a 5.5 which was cool.

i couldn't come back on right away because i was upstate NY deer hunting from Thurs-Today but my account is back and hopefully my posts get restored.
As for the hunting i didn't see any deer all weekend except for this morning i saw 3 does in the cornfield in front of me and i did not get a doe management permit so i couldn't shoot them. but duck season opens friday and hopefully i'll get some fresh duck breasts on the grill this weekend :D

Yeah I went to see my Grandpa and he had just got back from deer hunting, he said they had 7 guys and got 5 bucks, but no does. He saw 2 does that he couldn't shoot because it was in the wrong sector that he wasn't allowed to shoot them in he saw a third that he could have shot but couldn't because the brush was too thick. And my friend shot a big deer about a week ago.
