The upgrades for the Extcy would be tech t bolt, 360 qev, and violent seriers trigger. also if theres a better option feel free to share!

you dont need the tech t bolt or the qev they both do nothing but if your not liking the trigger on the extcy get the violent and call it a day

So the extra $100 i would pay for the etha isnt really worth it?

Are you high?

A QEV and new bolt at ~13ms dwell (I run at 9ms) will bring your efficiency up 3 pods off of a 68/45, but honestly the Etha is still a better marker.

What is it that makes the Etha a better marker?

cant go wrong with both. Really depends on how much money you want to spend, and what you would like better.

With the extcy, DONT get the techt bolt. The qev is the best upgrade and highly reccommended (more efficiency, higher rof), and a new trigger if you prefer it. Ive done scientific testing on the bolt and qev, the qev is the one with the preformance upgrade.

The etha will give you a tad more efficiency. But really, both have eyes, both have the settings, and both shoot the same rof. I would try out both if you can, or at least hold them. I like my extcy, but i dont doubt the etha wouldnt be great too. All about preference. I decided to take the cheaper route cause I rather spend my cash on paintballs and play.

Everyone at my field is having problems with their ethas. A couple broken noids, but the big thing, is the spring on the bolt engine. It bends and shrinks. Makes the gun not shoot properly.

I like the feel of the etha in my hands, but the extcy is a better gun imo.

Nope, they are made quite well. I have noticed that the Blackheart board is a bit of a battery hog, so be sure to take the battery out when you aren't at the field, and keep a spare in your bag. You need size .038in snap ring pliers to get into the reg to service it, and it does not come with lube, so order some Dow 33 with it of you dont have any.
