I picked up a Smart Parts Fighter 3 jersey a while back. The first time I wore it, the jersey fabric frayed when it got caught on the velcro on my pod pack. Is this common or is it just a cheap jersey? Should I expect the same thing to happen with a PE 2011 Distortion jersey?

As long as it isn't huge tears. I have small frayed spots from velcro on my Empire jersey, it's just the material they're made from. They're made to breathe well so it's a thinner material. Also, velcro will stick to most fabrics.

Yes the first time I wore my jersey it did this to. It doesnt really do much so dont worry.

Both. Most jerseys will fray, but the Smart Parts jerseys were poorly made compared to other jerseys. Mine had frays and tears from normal use.
