Dont buy a used mask! I would rather save money and just rent a mask.

I would not personally buy a used mask unless you can switch out the foam... too me it seems nasty to wear it since it's someone elses sweat...

First off don't buy a used mask especially when you can buy a mask like a Vforce provantages for 42.95 brand new at ans gear. Next off if your younger or have a smaller face i do not recommend the Proflex because of the foam ears, soft rubber, hard to remove lens and larger in size mask. Proflex is a great mask for people with larger faces and not worried about taking hits cause of the lack of protection. Hope this helps

I personally like the GI Milsim mask. yet to have a fogging problem, feels great, good field of vision... for 40 bucks it's perfect. has a profile similar to the dye masks

I got the proflex, it came in today. Fits good, very comfy, easy to breath, and doesn't fog! I bought it "used" but it was only used twice. only paid 30 dollars for it, which isn't terrible at all. Thamks to everyone that told me to buy the proflex, i am very happy with this mask.

Make sure you check out the Sly Annex
34.95 with a thermal lens and i think it is a nicer mask then the pro vantage.

I would definitely check out the Empire Vidar with thermal lenses. They're only 50 dollars and make a great starter mask. I've heard that the foam is not great, but you might be able to put some event's foam into it (It's only 8 dollars and includes an adhesive.)

First, go to a pro shop near you and try on the masks that you are interested in because some may be more comfortable than others.
Also, don't be afraid of spending to much money on a mask.
Your mask is your most important piece of equipment!
