last week I DRASTICALLY cut back on soda intake and started drinking more water. I can already feel the difference. I feel like I'm sleeping better, and for longer. I probably won't cut it out completely because I really like the way pepsi tastes, but I will have cut back on the amount.

Good for you. I recommend cutting it out, although it will be hard, it is more beneficial. I do enjoy a soda every once and a while though Posted Image

Gotcha. Yeah, any diet cutting back on copious amounts of sugar would be a benefit.

i've went from soda to powerade. Working in an autoshop with no A/C busting tires when its 90*+ outside takes its toll if you dont stay hydrated with water or powerade.

Can never go wrong with water. I don't even mess with coffee much anymore, but a strong tea helps. The taste alone is quite a shocker lol

Read somewhere that diet soda is worse for you than regular soda, because of all of the chemicals and such that replace the sugars.

Haven't drank any pop that I didn't need to in 3 years so far. It was easy giving up pop for me since I wanted to do it for tennis. Now im doing it for my body since after a while pop breaks your joints. The only time I have pop is if I am on a plane and I need some ginger ale to help me from tossing my cookies. Unless on the plane I'm sitting next to the sterotypical big person sleeping, hogging the armrest, face towards me, and mouth wide open.

It becomes easier once you start and set a goal for yourself. I am now on my way of giving up chips as well!

Give me a diet soda over a normy soda any day of the week. That normal stuff is hell on your body, and your teeth. :P Just ask my teeth... they're probably more fake than real. BUT my mouth is also high in acidity which didn't help anything either. :P

Good for you man! That was the first thing I did when I started dieting. Cut out regular soda and sweets completely. I lost a little over a 100 lbs (obviously not just from not drinking soda) and i feel great. I've put a few back on, but being at 215 at 5'11 is still better than 300 like I was...yikes.

I love herbal tea! The only thing people do wrong is run to gas stations and get that iced tea shit with all the sugar in it and assume they're drinking healthy tea lol I've been accused

My dad almost never buys pop (or for you Americans, soda) I rarely get it at home. He buys it around Christmas time and stuff but that's about it. I go up to my Grandma's for 2 weeks in the summer and I get so spoiled there. It's awesome. Pop every day for me :D and at youth group we have pop sometimes.
I have and I always will be a Christian Baller.
My setup: Because I'm a bad*** Tippmann 98 custom with a shake and bake and two 20oz C02 tanks. Be jelly!
