If you don't like anything, what would you change and with what?

If you get an X7 DO NOT get the cyclone feed. It is a P.O.S. that cannot be used on other markers. If you ever plan on getting a new marker (you eventually will) you will have to buy another expensive hopper to keep up. Go used and buy a super loader. This being said, it is important to note that any upgrade for this marker is useless. Tippmanns are kind of like boats, they are money pits that you just throw cash into that you will never see again.

I suggest a better mask, you can't shoot what you can't see. The mask is the most important equipment in paintball it will stay with you forever. I recommend any mask over $55. A good place to start is the Grillz, Proflex, or the profilers.

Get a 4500 tank off the bat, it will save you money in the long run so you don't have to buy a 4500 psi tank later. The 4500 psi tanks are also lighter than their 3000 psi counter parts (a 68/4500 is lighter than a 48/3000). These tanks are also more form fitting.

Vest and pods are ok if they fit your needs.

All in all your set up is flawed, you are not putting things into priority. How you buy your gear should go Mask<Tank<Hopper<Marker. You would want to fit in paintball pants in there as well.

My advice is not to skimp out on the Protective gear i.e. Mask, pads, pants, because these items will ensure you do not get beat up or loose an eye on the field. Also PB specific items help with ball bounces so you can avoid getting shot out much more than you would regular cloths.

Here is what I recommend Marker- GoG Enmy
Loader- USED superloader, Pinokios can be found for cheap, I bought mine for $40 but sold it for $70. In order of price ascending :Pinokio< V3 Rotor< Empire Z2< Virtue Spire
Mask- JT Proflex, V-force Grillz, E-flex, Sly profits (if you are not a heavy breather)
Tank- USED Ninja 68/4500
Harness/Vest- Rap4 Counter strike Vest (there are better vests but this one can do, try not to go with RAP4 because their stuff is expensive for no good reason)
Pods- Proto Alpha Pods (best pods on the market IMO)

I already have the X7 Phenom. I won it for free and it comes with the cyclone feed system.

King has a point. The initial setup you mentioned would be overly expensive, and would limited to primarily woodsball play. As far as loaders, tanks, and masks, king has got the right idea and you should do what he says. But as far as markers, get a used supergun off of BST if you can afford it, and maybe a more conventional pack. If your dead set on a vest ,have you looked at a flurry vest? you may be able to find them used and they are great.

If it's still brand new, maybe sell it and get a more versatile gun. If not, still ditch the cyclone and get something that is also more versatile.

NXE makes nice cheap harness for around 20$. I've always wanted to try out the critical stealth pack. Best bet is to try them on.
