I can slide without knee pads. However, after doing some supermans on dirt with just a long-sleeve shirt this Sunday, I thinking elbow pads are better for me. I already have padded pants but, diving and slamming my elbows and hip on the ground is not fun. :(

Just elbow pads. I think knee pads would be too restrictive... but I haven't actually tried any so I can't honestly say. Good hard wearing pants should do just fine.

both. i think knee pads are more important though. because you are on your knees a lot during games and you dont want to be kneeling down onto anything. elbow pads are only used really in the snake and help with bouncing. so imo both are vital.
