I play airsoft and paintball, and I have this silcone gun oil used to lubricate magazines and its called SC-50, matience oil.
the description is, SC-50 silcone oil spray can be used in most machinery parts like gears,o-rings,tools,plastic parts, etc...After spraying SC-50 on the ,it will have a protection surface on the parts and also have better lubricity(is that even a word?. So I was not going to use it to lube my bolt or reg or anything but, I was going to use it to lube my tank threads and asa threads so its a smoother screw in with my tank. Would it be safe?

Perhaps look into dow 33. I haven't had any experience with that before. A silicone based grease is what you want, not oil.

Hell, you can use KY jelly for tank threads even, not that you'd want to.
I only play paintball so I can tell dirty jokes.

I would play it safe and use Dow 33 (sl33k, Dye grease, Planet Eclipse grease).
