So if you've sen the other thread I posted about my bob long spump this will make more sense. If not basically I made a bob long Lasoya 2k2 into a spump.
The issue I'm having is the thing shoots REALLY hot. Like way over 300fps. It shoots so hot that the blowback from each shot is enough to push to bolt back and recock the hammer. I've tried everything sans putting a reg on or changing the valve spring. It's currently running off 12g's and a stock spyder spring, I've tried a spring kit with no luck, the soft springs all recock and the hard springs make it shoot even hotter. I would prefer not to buy that PPS regulated 12g changer as I only have $30 in this whole thing. I have honestly no idea what to do, any ideas?

So is it just a bob long 2k2 body with spyder internals ?
If so have you just tried trimming the spring

yes it's a 2k2 body with spyder internals, it works great, except it's wayyy to fast. I have tried trimming the spring and was successful doing this. I ended up cutting off like half the spring and stretching it out and it works but it's stretched so much that it's getting squished back together. My only other idea is to change the valve and spring, I'm using a high flow pin i think that could be the issue.
