Opinions for pump play?

I used my new Empire Sniper this past weekend with my Proto Primo, but got fed up fairly quickly with how it didn't seem to keep up as well as it did with my KP (especially when trying to use the autotrigger).

I switched it out for a Rotor, and it was glorious as per mechanical feeding. The issue I found with that was, even with the tension screw backed out almost to the last thread, it seemed that the tension on the ball stack was still strong enough to overpower the return spring on the pump, leaving me to have to manually pull the handle forward.

So whatchyall think? Not enough feeding power versus too much?

Are there any loaders out there that don't feed with as much strength? (Aside from the Pinokio, I know it's fairly light)

My revy keeps up most times with my empire sniper and it definitely has no ball stack tension.

Revvys are pretty much the premier pump loader

I typically use a revy on my empire sniper because it has autotrigger but with my other guns I mostly use my sportshot

I still use a sportshot on my Empire sniper. I'd go for a cheap gravity hopper for pumps.

I wish I could find my old revy guts (shell busted a long time back) and push them into a CAT. seriously though who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to make the revy constantly spinning??? Anyway, I'd say try out some smaller hoppers for pump (sportshot, app, etc) no reason to put a rotor on a pump.

My APP 50 is great! Durable except for the lid, but hot glue a pod lid on there and its perfect. Nice short feedneck too. Not had many feeding problems as long as I dont pack it full.

I use a sportshot i can't outshoot it while autotriggering at all. Fastest i've hit yet is 7bps and it fed every ball. Just when i'm not autotriggering and re-cocking slowly is when i get a dryfeed

I think I'll stick with my primo so I don't have to worry about getting smaller pods or having half-full pods shaking around and breaking and shit-

But I've just become interested in the idea of the Valken VMax, only slightly larger than a rotor but essentially just as gentle as a pinokio

I rarely use AT, so I do just fine with my sportshot and primo.

I use a app 50rd hopper since I want something small. Any kind of motorized hopper would drastically increase the size.

100 round pods fill up my sportshot completely, with room for about 10-15 balls, so I don't have to worry about overfilling. Sportshots are my personal favorite, mostly because you can just dunk it in water and clean out any oil and paint, saves time IMO.

Honestly, I'm a huge fan of the x-board revvy. It's my go to loader for pump and mech cockers. I would have to agree, the sport shot is my favorite gravity fed loader.

I used my friend's primo today and I was honestly disappointed. It jammed at least once per game while my sportshot jams once or twice per Day of play. Much rather take the sportshot for that alone.

I use a revvy,as it is lightweight and assures you will have a ball every time.I don't AT much,but its nice to know that I can if I need to without worrying about dry-feeding/chopping.

I own two V-Max loaders. Two tips. Buy a speed feed because the stock lids flip up too easily, and don't leave your 9-volts in the hopper. Honestly I love them otherwise and use them with the GoG Extcy and Envy. Easy to take apart/clean and feeds about 17 bps as per drop tests I performed. There are better hoppers on the market, but not for $60.
