Thinking about maybe getting a pump to play with to switch tthings up a bit was wonering what u guys thought

I would say every paintballer needs to pump at least once in their life.
For beginner pumps i would recommend 1. Used Azodin kaos pump, 2. used Trilogy pump, these can be found for around 100 or less. for anything more i would look around for a used sniper (not the empire sniper, an autococker converted to a pump).

I agree with above on the Trilogy. I started out with this pump gun and it never gave me any problems. It also only cost me $80 total ($60 for the gun itself and then $20 for a pump kit). I now use it as a loaner for players interested in pump because I know that everytime I lend it out they won't have any problems just fun.
