Im looking to get into playing some pump just for fun. What do you guys think about the trilogy pump vs. the Kaos Pump? also considering building an autococker sniper just looking for opinions, not looking to spend lots of ash. Thanks

used snipers are the best way to get into pump, they can be had for relatively cheap and perform amazingly for the price.

A pumped trilogy is a sniper, because a trilogy is an autococker. And yes, they do make very good first pump guns.Plus,if you don't like pump, they aren't that expensive and have good,if not identical, resale value

if you don't know that much about autocockers or even have that much experience in paintball for that matter then the KP might be a better option then the trilogy

When I got my Trilogy, I knew nothing about Autocockers. Regardless, I was still able to use it and maintain it just fine. There's not a lot you can mess up on a sniper, and especially a Trilogy since they're designed as bare-bones and simple.

It's the mech and electro cockers that newbies should be wary of as those require quite a bit of tuning and understanding of the system. Pumps are pretty idiot-proof.

Also, 6000th post.

I have a fair understanding of autocockers and have a lot of paintball experience, just not with pump

Them either find a trilogy and put a cheap pump kit on it,or you can spend some more and find a better cocker and pump that.it won't necessarily be better, but will have the capability of you putting a higher end later on,because you will love pump and want to do that.

Good to hear, lightnings make good pumps.Do you know what pump kit you are getting? If not, might I suggest this one:
http://www.paintball...mau2kdepuk.html
Or this one if you want AT hint hint get this one:
http://www.paintball...mapugunauk.html
Both of them will have a similar pump stroke, but while CCM's are regarded as gods of pump strokes,in this case, they will be very similar. And AT isn't necessary,it is just nice to have if you get pinned down by a couple electros.
