Fissure surface on an air tank Ninja Carbon Fiber Air Tank 68/4500

Found a fissure on my air tank. Pressure holds. Fissure depth of 3 mm around the circumference. Can I use this air tank? Is it safe? Thank you

it is safe to use as it is just the outer gel coat layer which is a protective, cosmetic layer fro the fibers underneath. As long as the fibers are not damaged the tank is safe to use.

The same problem with another bottle. Not used. Do not fill with air. Lying in the closet floor of year.

We apologize for this issue and let me assure you that the tank is safe to use. The outer layer of any carbon fiber tank is cosmetic and protective only. As long as the fibers are not damaged the tank is safe to use.

We did not make the tank but because it is a ninja system we will get this corrected for you! Please go to this link;

Read the instructions, fill out the form and you will be able to print out a UPS label to ship it in for re work. The bottle manufacturer will get the tank corrected and ship it back to you ASAP via UPS at no charge to you!

They will contact you about that, fill out the form and give them a few days to send you an email about the tank
