Anyone care to explain why Lieutenant Dans fiancé is asian in the end of Forest Gump? Is that some kind of ... post shadowing? I mean its cool that he has magic legs and all but that entire story arch was overshadowed by his presumably Vietnamese fiancé? Perhaps he came to terms with his injury and his new found love of god and in that forgave those who stripped him of his legs... which is kind of beautiful in a way....
