Hi everybody! I wanted to share my experience with you guys, and show that you don't need expencive DSLR cameras
to start shooting paintball videos. Like many others, I love HK Army vids, cause they are so sick, colourfull and dynamic.
So I've decided to try and shoot my own paintball video. But I was low budget. So the best thing I could do was go and by
a camcoder. I baught a Samsung HMX H300 camcoder cause it has everything I need. It has a 30x optical zoom, 3 hours battery life,
a timelapse mode and it can shoot 1280 x 720/50p or 1920 x 1080/50i. So I've made a video to show you what can be done with a camcoder.

This is my 2-nd paintball video in my life and I think it's not bad for a start.
Hope this can help.

I think everyone knows you can shoot with a camcoder. It's more like DSLR's or professional video cameras are exclusive, and camcoders are normal.
Besides Entry level DSLR's that shoot video cost next to nothing now, usually around the same or a little bit more as an OK camcoder.

And I haven't watched the video just yet, my flash player crashed.

The video is ok, the music is distracting/annoying.

Was this shot in 1080i or 720p?
Cause it seems a little jerky (freezing, then going faster again).
I like the video, the start is really really good IMHO, but then the rest of the video has some weird slowmo that makes it look kinda weird, no offense.

And why is all the words in another language?!?

Overall, a good start, but please, please shoot in 720p, because it looks better than 1080i.

To Blade of grass.
I always shoot in 720 p cause on my camera there is no difference between this two, except that 1080i needs more space on SD card=)
The "weird slomo" effect is the dissadvantage of the cheap camcoder. The only thing to correct it is to buy a realy good cam.
That is why I uploaded this video here, to show what you can expect from a camcoder.
I'm from Russia, and this video I shot on Russian paintball tournament, that's why there is a Russian language in the video=)
Anyway, thanx for comment=)

def a good video, be weary of autofocus though it tends to care more about in place objects like bunker than the actual moving players and give you that blurry image.

I really like the shot at 1:36 with the two guys moving into their bunkers in synch.
