The second picture is a very beautiful landscape shot.
Love how the road just adds depth to the picture and the fog/clouds looks great around those mountain tops.

The other two feels a bit overexposed, but I'm a person who likes things just a bit underexposed. Posted Image

I really enjoy the second picture of mine as well.

And yes they are on purpose just solely on the fact that I do like pictures slightly over exposed like you said. :)

Got to test my new lens a little bit. I'll upload some of them to my website tomorrow for better quality.

The macro ability on this lens is pretty cool.

I'll join. Just started though so mind the quality.

I've given up paintball and started photography and music as my new hobbies

Stig, you likin that new lense?

Spyder- I really like your 3rd picture. Where is that? The only thing is that the tower in the center is chopped off and things like that annoy me personally, but not a huge issue for most people.
I like the depth of field in your 1st picture. The second one just seems slightly off to me, I can't put my finger on it quite but it's still nice.

On another note, I also gave up on paintball awhile ago as well. I am also focusing on music and photography. Here's a combination of the two. :)

I am currently using a Nikon d50, as for lenses I have the 50mm 1.8D on there now. I also have the 18-55 kit lens and the 55-200mm VR in the mail :)
I also had a Nikon Coolpix L110 that many of these shots were taken with. (Traded it for the two lenses)

Again I am very new to photography so my pictures are far from perfect :)

P.S I dont own photoshop (Didn't want to make over a 200 dollar purchase on software since I didn't know if I was going to stick with photography) That being said these are all untouched by any photo editing software.

How did you make your watermarks?

Very nice. It looked like Vegas, but I wasn't sure where.

As for my watermarks, I made them used Paintshop Pro X4. It is an alternative program to photoshop that only runs for $50 right now and does virtually the same things needed for photographers for over half the price. Works amazing.

Chris,
Your pictures look awesome in my opinion man. Probably even better than mine :P

I really enjoy your perspective shown in your pictures, and un-touched by any editing softwares, the framing is nearly flawless on a few. Nice work man

I would add you, but Stig has to be the one to do it. I'd say you're in!

Where did you purchase your 50mm 1.8? I've been looking for one cheaper just cause they are awesome lenses to have and mess around with.

For my own stuff,
I received my ring flash today! so more to come with that. I am ordering a studio lighting box and trying to pick up a 50mm 1.8 lense^^

Hopefully things work out and money stays steady <3

also, I am shooting a tournament on Sunday so I will post a few of those pictures here as well!

Thanks! Your pictures are looking good aswell! :) The 50mm came with the D50 from the guy i bought it from. The 18-55 and the 55-200 were traded for with my original camera which was a Nikon coolpix L110.

Number 2 has a good vibe Chris.

Nobben, do it. Make it the Nikon club :P

The water pictures is legit! The bit of water further back that is out of focus (I think its water) gives it a good feel and makes it interesting and not just a bunch of blank space. What do you use for lighting?

Figured it's just easier to link that than actually insert images while posting from my phone :P. All taken with a D3000 and its kit lens, although I'm looking in to a 35mm 1.8 and a 70-300 (VRII preferably) as soon as I have some money to throw around.

Great pictures zero!

Blueminishooter - Believe it or not that out of focus part is the waters shadow. I haven't put money into lighting just yet so I use a regular table lamp (with the shade reversed so I can direct the light) a couple led flashlights and of course my on board camera flash. I usually put a small piece of paper over it so the flash is not over whelming.
