I like light, bouncy triggers. I have a violent trigger and it was great, I just took the trigger spring out and its even faster.

well it kinda depends what gun are u using =D usually a ball bearing rolling trigger.

What makes a trigger good depends on personal preference, and how the pull feels to your hand. When getting a new trigger, consider:

1. Do you really need a new trigger?
If your current trigger is comfortable, and allows you to walk maybe 15-16 bps, then you don't really need to change your trigger, since that's the amount that you need in a game anyway. As long as you can comfortably hit that, you should be fine with your current one. (e.g. I hit between 15 - 17 on the stock RX trigger, but the spring return feels a bit off to me, so I'll be looking for a magnetic trigger of some kind in a bit)

2. What are you looking for in a trigger?
I've had some people I know declare that they want a new trigger, and get out to the stores and realise that they have no idea what they're looking for in a trigger. For example, let's say I try out someone elses' marker (let's say an Ego), and I like the trigger on it. If I just go to the store straight and go looking for a trigger for my RX, it'll occur to me that a) I can't stick an Ego trigger on a Borg RX when I try to find an equivalent trigger for the RX, I realise that I have no idea what the kind of properties I'm looking for are.

What I would do in this situation would be to ask the owner about the construction of the trigger, or even better (if possible), to have a look at the trigger itself. Things to look out for are:
- Pivot point. Where does the trigger pivot? Is it forward, backward, or just above the blade of the trigger? I know Mike has mentioned on his video that he prefers triggers that have the pivot point behind the blade, but I do know a number of players who prefer having the pivot point directly above the blade. (Note that I haven't yet met anyone who has liked a trigger with a pivot point in front of the blade, but hey, it's not impossible, so if that works for you, go ahead and use it)
- Blade shape. Probably the largest determinant of whether you'll like a trigger or not is its blade shape. There are a lot of weird and wonderful trigger shapes out there, with slightly varying construction between the different companies so it's a good idea not to memorise the exact blade shape, but look at it and find out why it works for you. Then, simply see if you can find that qualities in any of the triggers available for your marker.
- Material. It's never been a big factor to me, but might be to others. Depending on the material that the trigger is made of, you might get a difference in the feel of the pull due to the weight. If I had to make a choice, I'd go with a light trigger, as light as possible, but like all triggers, it's down to personal preference.
- Return type. Does the trigger return using a spring or a magnet? The difference in feel between springs and magnets are huge in my opinion, so be sure to take that into account when choosing a trigger.

I'm sure there's more to consider, but I can't think of any right now. Hope this was helpful
