Are you open to buy used also what are you looking for in a marker?

Okay, if you're a rec baller you definitely do not need those high end markers.
Look mid end at most, like the Axe.

Well do you prefer poppet of spool valve guns? Single tube design or stacked type design? They feel similar in the hands and have the same modes. The ego will be more efficent and less smooth. The geo will be less efficent and will kick less.

They are both top of the line guns. It's just what YOU prefer.

I'm a rec baller who has not played in 5 months and I have a G6R and a T8.1.

OP:
You can have any marker you want regardless of if you are a rec baller or a tourney player, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

That is 90% of all high ends on the market.

Well I was more leaning towards arguing about the Geo 3, being a 1500 spool.
But anyways to each his own.

Easy maintenance I'd say look at any stack tube Poppit. Just gotta pop the bolt out and lube, and unscrew the back cap to pop out the ram if needed.
But it's personal preference really.

If you buy new, do not go for an Ego 11

If u do want to spend that much on a gun then just get the macdev clone gt. IMO it is a perfect gun. Hands down getter than a geo 3. Although if u are stuck on those 2, then I recommend a geo

You could easily find a gently used Geo3 in the BST for $800-900,which saves you about $500,which is alot of entry and paint money.

lolnope, but you can find GEO2.1's in the BST for like $600 which is almost the same thing as the GEO3.

I completely forgot about the MacDev, go for that instead.

I love my EGO 11, but with a new one coming out shortly I would recommend the GEO 3. My teammate has one and is in love with her
