Who's not to say some people are a little suspicious? The only reason why I think none of the townspeople voice their opinions, is because he offers them safety. If they were against The Governor they would be kicked out of town with the walkers.

Merle needs to die... he is just a bad person... but, i can respect that he is up front about it... the gov. is just smarmy... you want to like him for what he did, but then you know just how purely evil he is... after seeing this episode i really want to see maggie or glen kill the gov....

Take a look at the 15 second mark. Daryl running through the woods with his crossbow, which was confiscated by one of the people of Woodbury (who you see holding it in the last two minutes of Made To Suffer.) Also look closely at the 20 second mark. You see Rick running up to Glenn who yells "Why'd you bring him here?!" If you look at the right half of the screen you see a sleeveless left arm; that's Merle. My guess: Rick and Michonne go back in and leave Maggie and Glenn at the car, grab Daryl and Merle and bring them both back. Thus giving reason to Glenn's outburst.
I obviously have way too much time on my hands.

It's a running joke about the show because they seem to only allow one black guy at a time to be in the group. First he meets Morgan and he goes away somewhere and bring in T-Dogg. Then when they introduced Oscar they killed off T-Dogg. Then in the same episode they bring in Tyrese they kill off Oscar.
