So there's the top posters list at the bottom right. How does that work? I mean, I posted a lot yesterday, but 24 hours later it says i am still one of the top 20 posters, even though I know I haven't posted 80 times today. Just kinda interested to know how it works.

It probably takes the top posters in the 24 hour period prior to when the query was made. So if you look at it at 8pm, then it looks from 8pm the previous day to 8pm when you're looking at it.

does anyone know the specific time it re-counts/re-sets?

It doesn't reset. It covers the last 24 hours at the time of viewing.
