Those damn West Virginians!! Haha I'm only allowed to say that because I have a lot of family there (but mostly in Morgantown). Martinsburg really is the shit of the state though (my dad bartends there). The thing is there really isn't much for them to do, so they resort to being complete idiots.

Whenever we visit my grandparents, my brothers and other relatives play paintball in their woods (not the best but still fun), and whenever I go to the local Dick's to get paint, there is always somebody there who tries to talk to me about paintball. They tell me what they do, where they play (mostly in their woods, theres a lot of woods there...), and which gun they have, out of the selection of the Tippmans or Spyders at Dick's, or the Brass Eagles at K-Mart or wherever. Their lack of paintball knowledge is sad :( . Oh and compressed air for paintball is completely alien to most of them.

For example, one time when i was going to get some paint, this kid started talking to me, told me about how he had a Spyder ___ and was trying so save for a Tippman ___, so I told him I have an Ion, and want to get a PM8. He just looked at me for a minute that was like a cross of "I'm confused" and "this kids makin this shit up" <_< . He asked me if an Ion was an older model Spyder... NO, its made by a company called Smart Parts... Oh I've never heard of them are they any good?... They aren't the best, but I would say they are better than any Spyder... How can they be that good I've never even heard of them and all my friends play paintball with me all the time blah blah blah.....

It just went downhill from there. I didn't bother arguing at all it wasn't worth it. He assumed the PM8 was a Tippman (I guess because I said it "PM8" not "Proto Matrix 8," and the "98 Custom" "X7" and "A5" probably played a roll in his reasoning). The rest of the story isn't even worth telling.

Personally I think WVU needs to have a paintball team. I think it would make all the people in the state who hate the sport realize that it really isn't the evil thing they think it is. Morgantown, for example, doesn't even allow the sale of paintball markers within the city limits due to all the crime that is commited with paintball markers.

Has anybody actually broken glass with a paintball?? I find that statement absolutely ludicrous...

But I'm glad they got the paint off before it stained anything.

These people annoy the shit out of me. They obviously don't play or they would care about maintaining their SPORT. There is nothing sporting about vandalizing. But then again, how many people have broken stuff with baseball equipment like bats and balls? OUTLAW BASEBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Walmart refused to sell paintball gear, 78.7658% of this stuff wouldn't happen. I mean they don't even sell anything worth having, I can't imagine they sell too much of it...

Stupid vandals.

A local field was recently forced to close due to complaints by drivers and neighbors because costumers were shooting cars and buildings when leaving the field.

So it's not just clueless people that buy spyders at walmart.

Two adjacent panes to broken panel are plexy-glass. Diagonal pane is also glass and fractured from hits there.

Why? This only lead to the downfall of the sport we all love so much. I have heard of countries where you join a club and leave your equipment at the club locked up. It may have to come to this because of morons that shoot at people and other people's property. What idiots.
