what dye do i use to dye a mask

I know this link is for a lacrosse stick, but I imagine the process will be very similar.

What is an lacross stick made of? Plastic/rubber processes can be different since they adhere or in this case sink in differently. Ive seen this question asked before but I dont think ive ever seen anybody actually do it before (nobody is willing to risk their mask I think). If you do try it and are successful post pics up.

you can use RIT fabric dye, its sold at places like walmart. You dont want the dye to be super hot though as it can warp the plastic/rubber parts. I think taking it up to a boil, and then letting it sit for 5 mins to cool off would probably be fine.
