Hey there. I was looking at my Geo's bolt and started thinking about the spring that the bolt guide shuttles on. Do you think it's possible to put a lighter spring in there and be able to lower the operating pressure? It seems like it would have been tried before but I thought I'd see if I could get some opinions.

That spring is what pushes the prop shaft forwards once the dump chamber is near empty to close off the bolt before the bolt has started returning. It may be possible that if your dwell is especially long, and you reduced that spring's tension so that it shuts off the chamber later, you might see a jump in FPS due to excess wasted air, but I doubt you'd see any difference in a Geo with a standard setup.
