I'm getting bored of the Meta, it's been like this since I started over a year ago

I hope the nerfs dont't plow talon too hard. He's one of two champs that I feel I know like the back of my hand

So I set up a livestream channel on own3d.tv. Let me know if you guys want to see it or not. It'll mostly be ranked games in the ~1200 elo bracket. It'll be about me trying to get up to 1500 elo.

Ranked is just... I don't know. I finally got around to trying it out, and it's been interesting. I'm 7/9 at the moment, ~1100 ELO, and I can definitely tell that my individual mechanical skills in LoL are VASTLY superior to many of my teammates. It's just downright awful how bad some of my teammates were. A support Nami who didn't know what a Rune Page was. Sivir ADC who had 30 CS 15 minutes into the game. A Katarina who didn't know what roaming was until I told her in the middle of the game (which she actually ended up doing pretty well with some help from her friendly neighborhood jungler, me). We forced a 20 minute surrender in that one because we were so far ahead.

My first game I went 16/7 on Eve and lost, but it was actually a good game. Couple games later we lost a game that was 5v4 in our favor for the first 10 minutes of the game, but our mid was too stupid to press the advantage: I even beat a Jax toplane as EVE. That just doesn't make sense. Then my most recent game we ended the game 17 minutes in before the enemy team even had a chance to surrender (again, Jungle Hecarim, I got my lanes to snowball pretty hard).



0/3 With Eve, but I'm 5/0 with Hecarim jungle in my ranked so far, so I may try to continue that trend. Hecarim is super-fun, I may just start maining him.

I'll duo with you if you want, I'm 1136 right now. I fell to 1000 a while back after my placements and I've been working my way back up

I know what you mean about bad teams. I supported in my placement matches, big mistake. I feel I should be around 1350 -1400. I've been using Talon to carry myself out and I have a 75% (15-5) win rate and my kdr avg is like 12/4/10 with him. Haven't been able to play much due to school though

I LOVE good supports when I play AD Carry.

Last night, this Taric did exactly what I told him to do. All I really told him to do was stun the enemy Varus as much as possible, and warded exactly where I wanted him to, and when I wanted him to. The stunning worked well, because it denied the Varus CS and trades, so I ended up being around 50 - 60 CS ahead of him when the game ended. (I was playing Vayne, my main AD Carry)

I picked up Elise for jungling. Just gotta practice. She's really hard.

Got myself Nidalee, Draven, Pantheon and Thresh and skins for almost all my champs. Also I went and made mastery pages on all my champs, So much work but it pays off.

Just gained 85 elo today. I was gonna do another game, lolking'd everyone on my team they all had under 10 games played. Dodged that shit so fast.

Thresh is fun and I find he becomes most usefull mid game. His q and his e are great when used in a combo especially with ult. Thresh is a lifesaver for everyone in team fights. The 2 funniest things to do with Thresh is to 1) Cancel someones ult or cc attack with q and 2) Find an enemy close to turret, use q to bring them in, e backwards to knock them into turret and then ult so the turret takes them out, the other guy gets PISSED. lol.

Very very big lesson to you guys who do ranked. If you are losing terribly and you know there's a way to counter it. Don't give up and do what you have to do. We started out like 7-22 and ended up winning cause we waited for the other team to do crucial mistakes, and take advantage of that.

^ So many teams give up when they go down early.

It's not hard to turtle and farm until late game. There is always a point in the game where one ace will end it, regardless of what the towers look like. 50 mins in, if you get aced the other team can no problem take out all the towers and your nexus well before you respawn

FINALLY got back to 1200. Did it with rammus. I used to play him constantly and I was good with him but I didn't even want to try him in the new jungle. Turns out even though his clear time is awful, low elo players simply can't deal with how tanky he is as well as how much cc he has.

I can build pretty much pure HP and have my W do all the tanking. I ended one game today with almost 6k hp. I had a pantheon spear my and it literally made no mark on my hp bar
